Yeah i'm looking for that kind of stimulator for a while.

Thanks I am sure you would be fine with it, its just the amount of time you would need to take off of work.

    Thanks Trigger.

Well i guess their device can be implanted on active people.
It make no-sense to implant something if it reduce your activity level in the future. The goal of these device is to reduce discomfort and improve quality of life.

I hope you feel well with it.

that would be something you would need to discuss with your doctor. there is no way you can do that type of work during the trial, and I have no idea how long you would need to take off for the implant. With heavy lifting from stage to implant at the very lease 6 to 8 weeks.

I was wondering where your wires are connected?

I was looking the "Precision" implant for pain and the wire or lead is in the spinal cord.I freak out a little bit about that.I work manually everyday doing all sort of thing:working under a sink, lift heavy weigth and even do sit up sometime.

Well I just had my new one placed in on Tuesday and I can not feel it at all ..

I had to place the remote over it to see if it was working that is all I did ...
It is placed inside a pocket of fat that is taken from you body so it is just not sticking in mid air at all ..
When I sit down I don't feel it is something that you just get use to ..

You know I have my InterStim Implant now over eight years and I just love it as I know it has changed my life so great and I am so happy to have it back up and running again ..

you know something funny is it feels great. Why, because it reminds me that todays technology has helped to improve my life..

On the reality side, the incision dose hurt. I had mine in on the 16th of May, it is still tender and going thru the itchy stage. The device itself I cannot feel unless I reach back and poke around at it. you do not feel it while you are sitting, laying, standing or having sex.. lol you never know when that will be asked right? lol I never think about it rarely dose it come to mind that I have it.

I hope this helps you some.

How does it feel to have a device in the butt?

Can you tell me how the discomfort is in the next months after an implant?

It must take a long time to "forget" that the pacemaker is inside.
Working...
