  • Any TENS unit experiences to share?

I haven't used a TENS for my IC, but did use one following shoulder surgery and it was very effective for relaxing the muscles around the joint, thus reducing the pain substantially.

My insurance company paid for rental, but refused purchase --- which ended up costing them substantially more --- go figure.

My TENS helps with my pfd or the nerve pain associateed with it which starts with various muslce spasms. I only use two electrodes, put them on my left buttocks- one high and inside and one lower and more toward the outside. I do it every evening for fifteen minutes to two hours and it is helpful.
