  • pain be gone, TENS pen

    Hi
I am not sure how to register for the TENS sub forum.

Tonight I tried using a 'pain be gone' tens pen. My husband used it for a dislocated shoulder and now I am trying it for the bladder pain. I find it useful, I wouldnt be able to use the machine with pads on it, as those are not practical (we have one of those also).
this pen one is good. it has helped a bit tonight.
It zaps and can go through light clothing, hair etc.
Thought I would post as it might help someone.

    thank you

That's so interesting. I wonder if the pen is available in the U.S.

Its called Pain Gone sorry, not Pain be gone. The hospitals here use it for pain management apparently.

        Otc t.e.n.s

I see it is available without script now.
I got IC in 1970! I was not diagnosed until 1991. I've tried many drugs and therapies but I tend to only resort to drugs when in a flare because when I am not in a flare (from being good on diet), I suffer only from small bladder volume (like about 7 ozs.) and peeing will relieve the discomfort. When I am feeling relatively normal, I say to myself I am glad I am not on a drug. When I am in a flare, I say, why am I not on a drug! I've recently have been trying to solve my connective issue problems in general. I look to diet and herbs mostly unless it gets really bad. I still think there is great hope for each individual finding a path to healing and there are many.
