Yes, I'm very sensitive to colorants & fillers.
I take two 10mg Mylan brand amitryptiline tablets at night. They are generic, so less expensive and this brand is a white tablet. Have had no problems and much relief.
Safeway pharmacy has special ordered this brand for me as has Medco, my insurance company mail order pharmacy.

If you're sensitive to meds, you might start out like I did with 10mg and then move up to 20mg if 10 is not enough relief.

I went from voiding 60x a day (completely unable to function) to 20x within a week of starting this medicine. The first night I took it, I slept 4 hours straight & I was so grateful I cried. I hadn't slept more than 20 minutes at a time for several months before that due to the constant sensation of needing to urinate.

I hope you get equally good results and no problems!

    Amitriptyline and Medicine Sensitivity

    Hi All,

I wanted to check in and see if anyone who is sensitive to medication can take Amitriptyline..

I want to give this medication a try, but I tend to be sensitive to fillers, etc..

Does anyone else have this experience? Does anyone have their mediciations compounded at a pharmacy to have the amount of fillers reduced in their meds?
Working...
