Is prozac safe?

I'm on prozac for anxiety. Does it harm bladders in IC patients? One urolgoist told me this was the case, but he seemed pretty ignorant about IC, so I was wondering what your experience was of this. I cannot tell if I'm worse or better without it, because I've basically been in a flair for the past year and 5 months...symptoms are basically just as crappy as the day or month before. Since things are pretty bad and they fluctuate by the hour (usually depending on stress, how much I've just drunk- water, and bumpy car rides which trigger me), it's hard for me to tell if prozac is making a difference or not in my symptoms
