D Mannose

Hi- sorry this is probably on the wrong thread! What exactly is DMannose? I have urethral burning after intercourse. I have read another post a while ago and somebody said it stopped them flaring after intercourse. I dont know whether it is worth ordering as I have to pay for shipping also. Is it helpful?

I was told Dmannose was cranberry with the cranberry taken out. I did find that it helped me for a day but I had to take a lot and it caused constipation.
