  • Blood in Urine!

Are there any of you that Have ever had or seen Visible Blood in your Urine, either before or during your treatment of IC?

  • #2
You can get visible blood with a UTI.

I don't know how old you are but you can also get it with vaginal atrophy of the urogenital variety.

I've had it several times due to the above causes and 'have microscopic blood whenever I have a culture done at the urologist's.

      Hi
Yes, just once I had visible blood in my urine, not long after my first IC symptoms set in. I was tested for UTI but there was none. That seems to be fairly common at the onset of IC symptoms.
      That was the only time.

Visible blood in urine is usually a sign of infection --- it's something that should be checked, especially if it's a new symptom.
