  • Elmiron shortage

OK, I have been almost a month without my Elmiron - pain is back! Has anyone been able to get theirs refilled or has anyone heard when the shortage will end?

If you can afford to pay for it, I believe you can still order out of Canada.

I was picking up a new prescription of Euribel yesterday (to supplement the Elmiron in case I have to cut back.) I asked about Elmiron, since my mail order pharmacy is out and doesn't know when they'll have it in. Pharmacy tech said they've had it all along. Contacted my doctor's office and they called in a prescription. It was CVS in Langhorne, PA.

              Elmiron @ CVS?

Sounds like many members have had good luck with CVS! I am going to call a few tomorrow.
              Thank you for this information.
Diagnosed in June 2008. Symptoms began in 1998.
Also diagnosed with Sjogrens, APLS, IBS, & GERD.
              Medications:
Elmiron 400 mg, Protonix 40 mg, Tramadol 25 mg, Plaquenil 200mg, iron, Vitamin D 100 IC , Calcium 2 tablets, Fish Oil 2 tablets, Claritin, Biotin, Pro-biotic, & restastis eye drops.
It took a year for the Elmiron to work, but it has really made my life with IC bearable.
