What I mean is, if I am currently feeling pain in the penis pretty much all day long every day for about 4 months now, and my stream is very weak and never able to void more than about 4 ounces tops, could Elmiron improve this? If it were to work for me that is?
I understand that Elmiron is meant to help heal the bladder wall so I am assuming this would allow me to hopefully let my bladder fill up more without feeling discomfort and urgency and also create more pressure from higher volume and therefore a stronger stream.
This would of course only be possible if it actually worked for me. I've tried so many things up to this point without much relief. I am willing to give Elmiron a try if my urologist agrees it could help with these symptoms. At this point I am willing to give anything a try. I see many people on here are taking Norco, etc. If this could make me feel better, I would be willing to try that. Unfortunately, opioids are pretty difficult to get written for. I am not an addict, and I know that I have in the past tolerated Norco pretty well after a sinus surgery for a brief period with almost no side effects and didn't crave more than what was prescribed and stopped without any issues. I would much rather be pain free and med free (I have been given benzos for a while and don't like them and take them very sparingly). Unfortunately I'm not pain free after many different trials and therefore am getting very hopeless and more and more uncomfortable as the undiagnosed days keep adding up.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
