  • Supplement exclusively for frequency??

Has anyone had any luck with a supplement exclusively to deal with their frequency. My IC is very mild and I have always had minimal pain. My biggest annoyance is frequency. I am a 29 yr old male and stick to a pretty strict IC diet.

Here is what I have tried...

    Early Diagnosis-era

Elmiron - Did not work for me. Side effects included loss of hair
Elavil - Helped with urgency, but made me a zombie. I was tired 24/7
Ditropan XL - Seemed to work for a short time

    Experimental-era

CystaQ - Did not work at all, urgency increased big time
Mushroom Root - Noticed no change
Whole Leaf Aloe Vera - Noticed no change
L-Arginine - Noticed increased erection, but no decrease in urgency
Chuck's Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM - stopped taking noticed no change

    Currently taking

    Barlean's Omega Man
    Chuck's Quercetin Complex
    Gaia Herbs Saw Palmetto

Since you were able to take the ditropan I would try another oab, my UG says they all are a little different and we'll respond differently to each one. I am currently on vesicare but was on ditropan xl for a couple of years myself. There is also enablex, and a new one called toviaz that I have samples of but am happy with the vesicare so am sticking with it for now.
