I am so confused about my hair. All of a sudden I have oily hair and the only thing I can think of is the cystoprotek. Has this happened to anyone? I have been using the same shampoo and conditioner. It feels as if I didn't rinse out my hair or something and I know I did.

Hi. I don't use cystoprotek but recently I am experiencing the same problem. I'm amazed as I have never had oily hair. Just the reverse all my life. I do take Elmiron and have been for about 4 years. Strange. I have no idea what is causing the problem. Maybe someone here can give us more information. It's a minor problem but unusal. Hugs, Ziggy

I honestly don't know what may have caused your oily hair, but I do have a hint that might help wash out the oil. If my hair feels oily, I put some shampoo in the palm of my hand, add about a teaspoon of baking soda, stir it in the shampoo with my finger and then step in the shower and wash my hair. It really comes squeeky clean that way. I don't do it often, but it's nice every week or two.

I've been using cystoprotek for about a year and definitely don't have oily hair!
Maybe just a build up or something? The neutrogena anti-residue shampoo works really well and its inexpensive to strip out extra products that can build up over time. I use it once a week.Cindi
