Have you tried any of the overactive bladder meds? They can really help frequency. I have tried vesicare, ditropan, oxytrol patch but the latest one I'm trying is gelnique. It is a gel that you rub into your skin in designated places (like shoulder etc) once a day. The active ingredient in it is oxybutynin which is a anti-spasm, bladder relaxant type of drug. Some people can have retention with these drugs but I luckily do not. I find it helps alot with frequency and just that general feeling of having to go even before your bladder is full. Maybe talk to your doc about trying one of these.

Are you following an IC diet? Caffeine isn't the only thing that can cause frequency.

You'll find a link to the latest food list in my signature below.

    Freqency problems

I have frequency problems - i don't have pain at all. Does anyone have a suggestion what product (like CystaQ or Bladder Q or any of the others) helps frequency? I realize our bodies are all different but my main problem is frequency. I gave up caffeine completely but i still have frequency - getting up every 2 1/2 hours at night

    Thanks
