Hi everyone,
I want to take a more natural route with this whole IC/PFD/V thing.
I was wondering about others successes with Aloe or Cystoprotek? I don't know what to choose first?
Also MSM/Glucosamine? – What are you opinions on this supplement alone?
My mum has lupus and various other health issues, and has had since she was about 17. She has been on so many different strong drugs that gave her horrible side effects. She has recently added in Max Gxl, recommended by her massage therapist. I can honestly say since taking this supplement she has improved 80% with all of her symptoms. She hopes to come off the nasty drugs and just use this supplement.
I noticed that a number of the ingredients in this product are in other products used to treat IC. I will list the ingredients list. It has a substantial amount of Vit c though, so I am concerned. Just with seeing mum have so much success with it I am considering trying it:
Vit c (as calcuium ascorbate USP) 250mg
L Glutamine 750mg
N-Acetyl Cysteine 375mg
Alpha Lipoc Acid 75mg
Proprietary GSH Absorption and Recycling Blend:
Cordyceps, N-Actyl D Glucosamine, Quercetin, Milk Thistle Extract.
It works by making the body produce more of its natural anti inflammatory - glutathione.
Does anyone know if this would be safe/beneficial to take for IC or would I be better starting with something like cystoprotek?
Thanks,
Claire
