  • klonopin for PFD-anyone take it?

Just been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and possible excessive leg movements at night. Sleep doc is trying to find a med that would work for both bladder, PFD spasms and sleep. He feels the Elavil which works great for PFD is aggravating to RLS and wants me to try Klonopin 1/2 of 0.5 mg at bedtime. Has anyone had any experience with this drug when used for PFD?

    Hi sammi,

I wasn't given Klonapan for the PFD, we ( me & my doctor ) went with the diazapam and it helps...I believe Klonapan is in the same family as xanax, valium kinda like a muscle relaxer. A few women i know here by me take klonapan for the PFD and it helps them so why not give it a shot, may help.

    Good Luck,
    Tracey
