I have a friend of mine who traveled from NY and lived in Chicago for a little while just to be treated by her. She absolutely raves about her! I guess she is one of the top PTs in the country. I wish I had the means to do that. There really isn't much good physical therapy in my area. Definately see her if you have the opportunity!Facebook- Ann Stockmeyer Rachinger

I commute 4 hrs.(each way) once a month to see her, with PT between with a local PT that came along and learned from Rhonda. She is awesome! It will hurt like hell the first time, but it gets better each time. She does not take insurance and is $150.00/hr.

Let me clarify, SHE does not file insurance or accept insurance re-imbursement. You can file on your own. YOUR re-imburse will be less than she charges. And that is why she does not take insurance. If you are a provider for a certain company then you have to settle for what they say is "fair and resonable" Rhonda couldn't afford to do what she does for the lower re-imbursement rate.
There are two very different schools of PT in this area. One is the way Rhonda and a very few others do it, which is mostly connective tissue manipulation. The other is more like manual amanipulations and strengthening.
Two different ways of treatment..........and the PT's are often at odds with each other about it. Rhonda is sort of like a lone ranger. She believes in what she does and ignores the nay sayers.

I also live in Chicago, and my urogyne actually recommended two different physical therapist's that are suppose to be the very best. One is a little bit far, and is out in Lake Zurich, and it is called the Women's physical Therapy Institute. The other one he mentioned is called Kamin Physical Therapy, Inc. and she is located in Park Ridge IL., which is not to far from Chicago at all. I believe these two do take insurance as well.

Re: Anyone ever go to Rhonda Kotarinos for PFD
Rhonda absolutly saved my life. Before I had treatment from Rhonda I had pain, severe pain, as in Morphine around the clock pain. I also peed a tiny amount up to 60 times/day. Now I have no pain, I pee 6 or so times a day, I take no medications. I was in pain, depressed and felt life was over for me at age 42. She will help you.
