    Re: Empi IF 3WAVE

I just got some compounded cream with these ingredients also (to insert vaginally), and I waited for a flare, and the stuff just burned like crazy and made my flare so much worse. I'm wondering if I reacted to something in the base. I will be calling the pharmacy very soon. Really disappointed as I think treating something locally is the way to go.

    Empi IF 3WAVE

Also, who would write a prescription for it? Would a pain management doctor be able to? I am seeing one soon. I like that the EMPI IF 3wave has a setting for IC pain! I think that is great. Sorry for all of the questions, just looking around!

I am happy that the new compound you are using is helping! Hopefully it keeps helping!
IF 3WAVE uses electrodes. I just love it. I started out with a regular Empi tens unit. I didn't like the way it felt. To me it was like getting shocked constantly. I traded for the EMPI IF 3WAVE. This baby is my favorite tool to use. It calms down my spastic muscles. 9 on the pain scale, after 20 minutes— 5 on the pain scale—4, 3, 2.

The big kicker is that is cost $1,200 dollars. Insurance didn't approve, but Empi will give IC patients a self pay plan, which is 100 dollars a month.

Your Pain Management doctor, urologist, GYN or your GP can write a prescript for this. Just make sure to tell them to write Empi IF 3WAVE on the prescript. If your lucky maybe your insurance coverage is better than mine.

Out of all the treatments, medications, etc., this is my got-to-have tool to survive . I highly recommend it.

    Hi,
If you don't mind my asking, what is an EMPI IF 3 Wave?
Sounds like you have a great doc, btw.
