  • finally have date for diagnostic cysto/hydro

My doctor, understanding the pain I am has decided to rush the hydro/cysto and my surgery date is Mondy the 20th. Wish me luck as am scared to death about what he is going to find in there. I don't know whether to hope my problem is IC or not. Almost everything else has been eliminated. If I dont show the pinpoint bleeding my dr wll not believe it is IC even though i have read that 10% show nothing. My Dr. is not very knowlegeable about IC, but his cmpasion and belief in my pain has encouraged me to stay with him. I hope I have made the right choices. Any suggestions on how long after the procedure I should take off work?

When I was working, I took a week away from work. I felt pretty good, but the rest was so nice.

I know exactly what you are experiencing right now. I think the worst time of all is before the diagnosis. Once you know what's wrong, you can then begin to deal with it.

    Sending an encouraging hug,
