  • Where's Kara ?

    I have not been on in a couple of weeks. Was wondering how Kara & her Mom are doing? Has anyone heard from her ? I know she had some appt & other things to do , just wondering if she's Ok. I've called her home but just got the answering machine. hope she's Ok . Let me know if anyone has heard from her.

    Meds For IC: Lyrica-25mg Glucosamine-500 MSM-500mg, Prosed Ds -When Flaring

    Other Meds: Levlite- Continious Birtcontrol, Micardis-40mg for High Blood Pressure

    Meds I have Tried:
    Topamax,Tofranil, Elmiron, Atarax, Cymbalta, Elavil, Enablex, Detral La, Prydium.
    Lexapro< Bad reaction to this med!
    Intstills, could not continue them due to some kind of reaction after 3rd instill. Tasted the lidocaine in my mouth, tongue and lips went numb then went into what seemed like a panic attack. Shaking, racing heart, tingling face/head, blood pressure shot up..

    Dx With IC in Nov 2006 with Hydro/Cysto
    Hydro/Cysto Caused Bladder to Rupture.

    Other Dxs-Vulvodynia,Fibro, Endo, IBS, HPV, Migraines, Spastic Colon, Mild Dysplasia.

      I know her sister was going to get married around now and a good freind of hers also, so hopefully that is why she has not been online.

              Weddings

              I've missed you all so much. I'm so glad to finally be back at home and sitting still. The wedding of my roomate is not much to talk about other than taking just about everything I had with two days to catch up before leaving for my Sister's. My Sister's Wedding was so beautiful and fun. I'm very tired. I will try to catch up on you all in the next few days I hope you are well and pain free .

                          Lortab as needed for pain


                          Meds that did not help:
                          Detrol LA
                          Lexapro (caused urgency)
                          Amatryptaline 10mg once a day (helped IC but made me feel like CRAP)
